It’s that time of year again – Mother’s Day is approaching and with that in mind we bring you our second annual mother/child look-alike edition. We received dozens of entries this year, and faced the daunting task of selecting only a few. Thank you to all who submitted photos.
Our “Apple for the Teacher” feature continues with this edition’s honoree, Liz Thompson of the San Joaquin County Office of Education. Ms. Thompson was introduced to us by one of her former students, who felt she was worthy of recognition for her inspiring teaching methods and commitment to her students.
It’s hard to believe that we are almost halfway through 2010 and summer is just around the corner. We are here to help you prepare for the season with cool summer fashions, recipes, home décor ideas and summer fun safety tips. So kick back by the pool and enjoy this edition of San Joaquin Woman magazine.
